Samual Schenker MD is one of our esteemed board certified physicians. Dr. Schenker has been practicing for over 35 years in the areas of neurology, hormone replacement, regenerative stem cell therapy, age management, pain management, sexual dysfunction, and functional medicine. Dr. Schenker is always exited to share patient success stories revolving around ground breaking alternative treatments for various conditions that have limited solutions in the medical literature. He is currently an active member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), the American Medical Association (AMA), American Academy of Pain Management, American Academy of Sports Medicine, and Academy for Anti-Aging. Dr. Schenker treats patients ranging from ages in early adolescence to late adulthood with all types of chronic diseases.
Dr. Schenker completed medical school in Santiago De Compostela, Spain in 1979. Where he developed a unique pedegree in traditional, integrative, functional, naturopathic medicine. He truly believes this muti-displanary approach to treatment is paramount to recovery and prevention of chronic disease. This "All Inclusive" a multi-disciplinary approach to promoting comprehensive health care and wellness by incorporating medical doctors, neurologists, orthopedics, holistics, physical therapists, and nutritionists. This “all inclusive” approach to patient care has become a proven success model.
Dr. Schenker completed his residency in Neurology at New York's Nassau County University Medical Center. He sub-specialized in neuromuscular disorders and traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Schenker now holds a internationally recognized patent on the first implantable spinal cord regenerative device for paraplegic and spinal cord injury. He has developed a second device for traumatic brain injury and has further developments pending. He studied extensively the use of low level laser therapy (Photo-medicine) at Baylor to develop these spinal cord stimulation devices.
